I took tomorrow off and have a 4-day weekend and it couldn’t have come at a better time. Not for any particular reason, I’ve just been kind of blah and tired all week and need to recharge my batteries. There was a bit of frustration yesterday when I woke up to no internet. I peeked out the window and yup, as I suspected that stupid cable wire was knocked down by a branch. AGAIN.

It was actually hanging in the middle of the street (the cable, not the branch) and people were doing U-turns thinking it was a downed power line. Fortunately, Comcast came today and attached it to a different part of the house so this hopefully won’t happen again.
That really has nothing to do with me feeling blah, but I thought I’d share anyway because it’s just so odd that it’s happened twice in the past month. I’m scared to death that this tree is going to fall over one day and kill us all. How much does it cost to remove a big tree?
Anyway, I digress. My 4-day weekend should be a nice one because we’re headed out of town to see my grandmother who lives near Ft. Lauderdale. My mom will be down there too. I haven’t seen my Grandma this entire year, I don’t think, and haven’t seen my mom since March, so that will be nice. Plus, since Jason has weekends off now, he can actually come to.
In anticipation of our trip and the fact that it’s highly unlikely that I’ll workout there, I’ve gone to the gym every single day since last Saturday. For me, that’s a lot of gym going in a row. Today, I really didn’t want to go, but I made myself and while I’m glad I did, I’m exhausted. So much so that I couldn’t even think about making a proper dinner.

Amy makes individual light and lean pizzas now. Did you know?

While I appreciate her efforts, it was not the most filling thing. Plus, it was sort of bland and required a lot of hot sauce.
And that’s all I’ve got.
