Maybe it’s because it’s the first full work week in who knows how long or maybe it’s because I’ve kind of been an anxious mess lately, but this week has felt looooong and I’m tired. It was one of those nights where I was fully prepared to go to the gym after work. I usually change in the office bathroom so I don’t have to deal with the locker room. I had my gym bag next to me at my desk and when 5:50 rolled around, when I normally change, I just ignored it, and at 6, I drove home instead.
As much as I wanted to just sprawl out on the couch and eat cereal for dinner, I made use of my [overpriced] produce.
This salad used the potatoes, the lettuce and the cucumber as well as some other stuff that I had in the fridge. It was pretty good and I didn’t even need dressing! I also managed to eat up all the kale in less than 24 hours, but that’s nothing out of the ordinary. My love for kale knows no bounds.
Though it’s only Wednesday, I see the light at the end of the tunnel and the light leads to fun. Tomorrow night, I’m going to see Guster in concert, Friday night is my monthly dinner club and Saturday, Jason’s parents are visiting. Oh and Sunday I’m getting a massage. So yeah, lots to look forward to. That and eating the rest of this produce, I guess. Damn, I just realized I should have used the red pepper in my salad too. It was hiding from me.
