Sometimes I end up with kind of a backlog of good looking food photos that I’ve never really shared. So I thought I would. Mostly because I don’t really have much else to say. So, here we go!

Rainbow salad

Rainbow Salad from Loving Hut. Though the name makes it sound like a completely different kind of place, it’s actually vegan restaurant near my office. It’s a chain, so there might be one near you. I ate this while dining with Mrs. Lawfully Wedded Wife, though I have no pictures to prove that. I actually went there again today with my boss.  I need an intervention.

Atlanta fresh

Strawberry, Basil and Balsamic yogurt from Atlanta Fresh. This is one of their new flavors (the other is Bananas Foster) and it was really interesting. It tasted pretty strongly of basil, but it totally worked. These yogurts are available in Whole Foods in Georgia (and other states, but not sure which). I got this from their company store, which I can walk to from my office. Lucky for me. Not so much for my wallet.

Steamy shrimp

Shrimp bok choy

Bok Choy & Shrimp Stir-Fry. This is something that Jason put together to use up a bunch of bok choy that I randomly bought. I’m not quite sure what was in here, but it included some other veggies, thai chilis (which I did not eat even though I am normally pretty brave about spice), soy sauce, chili oil, fish sauce and some other stuff. Oh and bok choy and shrimp, obviously. I just stuck that first picture in there because I thought the steam was cool.

Garlicky cauliflower puree

Garlicky Cauliflower, Kale and Avocado Puree with Caramelized Mushrooms. I was really excited to try this since it pretty much incorporated all my favorite foods. Kale, mushrooms and avocado, sign me up! The recipe didn’t say how many servings it made, so I went with two and Jason and I split this. At first, I was worried that it wasn’t a lot of food, but it ended up being really filling and really delicious. Even Mr. Cauliflower hater himself liked it.

And that’s really all I’ve got.  Told you I didn’t have much to say.

  1. I would be in serious trouble if I worked next to ATL Farm Fresh.

All of that looks so good! I want to check out the Loving Hut.

    • Can you ever make it over to the Norcross area for lunch time? We can kill two birds with one stone! The yogurt company store is only open until 6. They’ll give you free samples of everything, so it’s definitely worth it. And the owner is super nice. Once it started raining when I was in there and he drove me back to my office!

  2. I miss yogurt. There is just no substitution for the real deal. Those eats all sound delicious! I’m always on the lookout for a recipe that will get my cauliflower haters on board with my love of the white stuff!

  3. I’m glad there aren’t too many tempting places near my work, although I spend more money on froyo and salads from Sweet Green than I want to admit.

  4. That new yogurt flavor sounds sooooo good. Love basil.

  5. Oh wow! That yogurt flavor sounds incredible! And bananas foster? Mmm, let me throw that in a blender with a little booze…um, I mean a little ICE! And make a smoothie? Yeah, that’s totally what I meant!

Loving that steam pic! And oh my gosh, that cauliflower avocado puree sounds amazing!! I’m definitely looking into that!

  6. Looove bok choy! All of this food looks so yummy!
