So I was all like, “I’m going to take a picture of everything I eat on Tuesday and do one of those What I Ate Wednesday posts.” But then halfway into the day, I realized two things: 1. I don’t like taking pictures of everything I eat and 2. Everything I eat is really boring and repetitive.
Oh and also, I’m posting this on Thursday. Because you know, TIRED.
I might be wearing the same shirt as in the previous post. And the hair keeps getting worse and worse. You wouldn’t know it from the pictures that I’m taking, but I actually am taking daily, or almost daily, showers.
So I normally have breakfast, but on this particular day, Jason came home from work around 9 and took Alexander and I napped for three more hours and missed it all together. I still had coffee though.
I bought this Monk Fruit in the Raw and it’s pretty good. A lot of artificial sweeteners (even if they claim to be natural. I’m looking at you Truvia!) hurt my stomach but this one seemed okay. I know I could just use regular sugar and that would probably be the healthiest but I like my coffee really sweet. Really sweet.
For lunch, I had leftovers of this Roasty Soba Bowl with Miso Tahini. My picture kind of sucks because taking out my big camera was way too much effort, but hey, I actually cooked something. I just used whole wheat spaghetti instead of soba noodles.
Then I had a dessert. I really like processed ice cream treats. Sue me.
And a later snack – hummus and crackers. These crackers are really good and they’re on sale at Kroger a lot.
And then I realized that I don’t like taking pictures of my food and stopped. But I’ll have you know that I had a bunch of chocolate chips. I’d bought a bag because I had this grandiose idea that I would make a loaf of banana bread for a neighbor that also just had a baby. I don’t actually know said neighbor but there were balloons outside of the house a few weeks ago and I figured it’d be neighborly of me and also maybe give my baby a friend. But I haven’t made the banana bread because I also have a baby. So instead I ate half a bag of chocolate chips. I finally threw the rest of the bag away because I have these lofty aspirations of one day fitting into my non-maternity jeans again.
And then I ate the Roasty Soba Bowl again for dinner.
